I have finished my second cloche. This time with closer to the correct weight of yarn, though this is double stranded aran rather than super bulky. It knitted up very quick and is nice and thick and warm. The yarn was a wool silk blend so there was a lot of fuzzies left behind after felting but the hat is very pretty and has a nice shine to it. My sister made some felted mittens out of the same yarn.

I also made these three 6" quilt blocks inspired by Gee's Bend quilts for a mini quilt swap. They are made from corduroy left over from other projects, and some slacks material from ruined pants. The colors aren't quite right, the red is a nice deep color and the blues are actually navy and dark teal.
